Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum and Cranberry Museum Co-Host 87th Annual Cranberrian Fair
A celebration of all things cranberry will take place on the Long Beach Peninsula, from October 10 through 12, 2008. Bog tour, food sampling, live entertainment, crafters and more will showcase the area’s cranberry growing heritage during the 87th Annual Cranberrian Fair. Cranberrian Fair buttons are $5 each and cover admission to the festival activities at the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum, the Cranberry Trolley, and all events at the Cranberry Museum.
As part of Cranberrian Fair activities, the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum in Ilwaco will host a variety of vendors, offering handmade items such as pottery, jewelry, books, paintings, cranberry vine baskets, peach/cranberry pies, yard art, and more. There will also be a cranberry growing display, a number of raffles and locally-produced cranberry products from Oysterville Sea Farms.
