As we all know too well, Pacific County faces the threat of many natural disasters, including storms, tsunamis, earthquakes and floods. But, did you know that almost 40% of small businesses that close due to a disaster event never re-open?

Get the right information and plan ahead so your business is prepared.   At the”Ready, Respond, Recover”conference, discover the important disaster-recovery steps to ensure staff safety, security, communications, financing and rebuilding.

We’ll hold two “Ready, Respond, Recover” one-day conferences to reach businesses throughout Pacific and Wahkiakum counties.  The first conference will be held at the Willapa Harbor Community Center in South Bend on Tuesday, June 16 from 8:30am to 4:30pm.  We’ll also repeat the conference again October 14 from 8:30 am to 4:30pm at the Chautauqua Lodge, Long Beach.  Lunch will be provided to attendees, and the conference fee is only $25.   A portion of each admission fee will be donated to local food banks.
