- Lacie Dewitt : Relay for Life – Pancake Breakfast (see flyer) Become a Sponsor?
- Leila Brown: Skookum Surf Co. – Opened summer of 2005, Surfing, biking, rentail and clothing. Free surf lesson for everyone here from April to May.
- Gina Kolhage: Travelers Companion – Asked by Seattle Ferry system to have the books on the docks. 50/50 split with editorial spots. Cost includes internet ad as well, regular circulation. OP and Ilwaco has been putting adds in for years. March 31st is the deadline to get in the travelers companion. Back page is open for anyone to advertise this year for 1st time.

- Beach to Chowder Run/Walk [Sherry Hash]
15 registrations already for the half marathon, online registrations going well
- Doggie Olympic Games [Mike Litawa]
ordered printing materials, doing more online, first committee meeting next month
- SandSations [Becky Johnson]
3 masters signed to come, after spring break getting with the high school art… offering a battle of the sand to Nassell High, Chinkook tribe on Friday or Saturday night during the bonfire to dance, sing, and story teller. chili cook off fundraiser during the sand city.
- Jake’s Birthday [Wendy Murry] Have bands lined up, already a 3 car registrations in and Bride of Jake contestants are turning in registrations.
- Kite Festival [Jane Holeman] on track, did get printed materials, Artisit have work in fairly soon
- Holidays at the Beach [Holly Beller] Firm up the plans to have an entry in the parade, online naming of the sea serpent by April 1st. Has all the voting buckets and printers and
OTHER REPORTS (15 min)
- Liaison to Long Beach City Council [Steven Linhart] Jr. Rodeo Aug 14th & 15th City council gave them $1000 to get them started, they raised $14000 on their own already, QR codes people are saying nice things, Locations of pedistrain signage in down town, stage behind the police staion there is 4 stakes that is where the stage will be.
- Kite Museum [Kay Buesing] – 3 things happening spring fling during thing spring break for family fun begins 19th of this month and then the next 4 weeks , Make kites in the museum, treasure hunt, revolution kite flyers clinic is 19th and 20th
Longview theater collaboration we will be displaying Japan kites in their halway Sunday the 13th they will be there making kites and telling stories (Open house for theater)
- Loyalty Days [Bob Andrew] 6 weeks away, 8 bands, working with the Ilwaco childrens parade, James Monroe is our speaker, If you know of anyone with a convertible please let steven know so that need for parade.
- Surf Perch Derby [Dale Jacobson]
- SummerFest [Ragan Andrew] 60% complete, have schedual out the first part of April
- Working with UNA to put together some workshops on customer service and Hospitality.
- Long Beach Peninsula Visitors Bureau [Holly Beller] Astoria has 18 cruise ships coming in, April 11 workshop, North Head light house birthday April 19th.
- City Lodging Tax Advisory Committee [Wayne O’Dell] Mike- trouble shot ways to track
- Liaison to Ocean Park, Ilwaco [Laura Price] Shore bank purchased building downtown merchants to put ads in the windows, 2000 to the fire work display, Diane carter is the New Laision, Lady Wa in port on May 2nd Airport shut down as of May 6th,
- Columbia –Pacific Farmers Market [Gayle Borchard] – looking for voulenteer and vendors they really need vendors! Gas prices is limiting the vendors that are able to come. Looking for sponsors for the market, and they will promote your business they have one sponsor of $400. FOOD only market raw food or packaged not cooked foods or crafts.
- Night of Blues March 19th, at the River city theater
- Jane has tickets for the Oysters and Blues….all the proceeds go to benefit children
