SCAM Alert

Friday, June 6th, 2008

Hello all,

There is a letter going around stating that the US Dept of Transportation’s Procurement Office needs financial information from prospective contractors before submittal.  This letter looks very official and has two pages, and is signed by a ‘Robert Dal’, Senior Procurement Officer.

THIS LETTER IS A SCAM, SO  BEWARE!!!

All contractors wishing to do business with the Federal Government have to register in the CCR system online.  They never ask for info by fax!

Thanks for all your attention to this notice. Please share this with your people.
